BOOZE & GLORY: actitud y aptitud

 

Parece que no tuvimos bastante con estar de bolo el sábado por la noche que también repetimos el domingo. Y vaya noche de domingo. Y vaya domingo en general. No era para menos, venían de gira Booze & Glory y estábamos deseando que llegara ya la fecha.

Lo peor: que TRT, inicialmente anunciados para acompañar a la banda junto a KPE (r),  no pudieran  tocar al final por motivos laborales.

Lo mejor: todo lo demás.

Comenzó la noche con los asturianos KPE (r) y su punk ochentero, a pesar de que aún siendo domingo la gente comenzó a llegar algo más tarde, y eso que la apertura de puertas estaba programada para las 19.30.

Divertidísimos, con muchas ganas de tocar y gustar, y gustaron, vaya si gustaron…  Con teclados, dos voces (masculina y femenina), parecíamos estar viendo aquellos programas de los 80 en los que fluían esas bandas punk y nos parecía genial y lo más normal del mundo. Aquello con los que crecimos algunos afortunados.

Por cierto, (publicidad gratuita patrocinada por @niunpeloderubias) KPE (r) estarán actuando también junto a varios grupos más el 10 de diciembre en el Bad Step Kaos Fest en la Sala Malecón de Avilés.

Y llegó el turno de Booze & Glory. Qué ganas teníamos de verlos. Y qué complicidad con el público. Ya antes estuvieron en la sala viendo al anterior grupo y después de su bolo también estuvieron junto al público charlando y haciéndose fotos con todos. Esa humildad y cercanía que nos encantaría que tuvieran todos los grupos, fue la tónica general también durante el bolazo que se marcaron.

Un setlist increíble (os dejo foto para que le echéis un vistazo), un sonido inmejorable, una actitud y una simpatía que rebosaban en todos los miembros de la banda. Profesionalidad y diversión a partes iguales, no pudimos pasarlo mejor. Maravillosos. Nos quedamos con ganas de más, por supuesto, a pesar de ser domingo. Les habría hecho tocar una hora más, se hizo tan corto que estamos deseando que vuelvan pronto por aquí. 

Y qué decir del merch. Qué pena ser pobres. Me lo llevaría todo.

Habrá que esperar a próximas citas.

It seems that we didn't have enough of a gig on Saturday night that we also repeated on Sunday. And what a Sunday night. And what a Sunday in general. It was not for less, they were coming on tour Booze & Glory and we were looking forward to the date.

The worst: that TRT, initially announced to accompany the band with KPE (r), could not play in the end for work reasons.

The best: everything else.

The night started with the Asturians KPE (r) and their eighties punk, despite the fact that even though it was Sunday, people started to arrive a little later, and that the doors were scheduled to open at 7.30 pm.

With keyboards, two voices (male and female), we seemed to be watching those programs of the 80's in which those punk bands flowed and we thought it was great and the most normal thing in the world. That with which we grew up some lucky ones.

By the way, (free publicity sponsored by @niunpeloderubias) KPE (r) will also be performing along with several other bands on December 10 at the Bad Step Kaos Fest at the Sala Malecón in Avilés.

And it was Booze & Glory's turn. How much we wanted to see them. And what a complicity with the audience. Already before they were in the room watching the previous band and after their show they were also with the audience chatting and taking pictures with everyone. That humility and closeness that we would love all the bands to have, was also the general tone during the great gig they played. An incredible setlist (I leave a photo for you to take a look), an unbeatable sound, an attitude and a sympathy that overflowed in all the members of the band. Professionalism and fun in equal parts, we couldn't have had a better time. Wonderful. We were left wanting more, of course, even though it was Sunday. I would have made them play one more hour, it was so short that we are looking forward to their return soon. 

And what to say about the merch. What a shame to be poor. I would take it all.
